Master Plan Document for City of Valley Park, MO

The City undertook the process of developing a Master Plan in 1988. The document was written and developed by Campbell Design Group. The Planning and Zoning Commission adopted the plan and it was affirmed and adopted by the City's Board of Alderman. The Master Plan became the City's policy document. A separate document was developed to serve as the Planning and Zoning ordinances.

The original document from 1988 is still active and has not been officially updated. PGAV Consulting has provided a Comprehensive Plan Update and is presented here for discussion purposes only. The Update has not been adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission nor the City's Board of Alderman. The update is under consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission.

Technical Note: The web administrator was not able to obtain the original Master Plan of 1988 in electronic form. It was electronically scanned in (as a photograph) and presented on this webpage as a series of images. The Comprehensive Plan currently under review was available as a PDF document. The individiual sections are presented spearately to help the user read the sections easily.
