Mayor Chandra Webster

It is my pleasure to serve as Mayor for the City of Valley Park, Missouri.

A growing and dynamic city, Valley Park prides itself on offering the finest parks, biking trails and sports facilities in the area.

Our City is split by the beautiful Meramec River which provides some of the most beautiful sites and exotic wildlife in the State. Approximately 7,000 people call this community home and thousands more come to visit and work each day.

We are blessed to have two of the finest school districts in the area — Valley Park and Rockwood. We are also within 20 minutes from University of Missouri St. Louis, St. Louis University, Washington University, Maryville University, Webster University, Missouri Baptist University and St. Louis Community College.

For the outdoor enthusiast, we have it all. A levee trail system built in the last 20 years provides for some of the best biking, hiking, jogging, walking and rollerblading in the Midwest. Our dirt bike trail is open year round and in the summer time, competitive races occur every few weeks. A top notch (pardon the pun) archery range is available to residents and visitors. Our conservation boat ramp and parking area provides boaters from around the country a perfect place to put in, take out and enjoy a hassle free day of boating, fishing and camping.

We are also proud to announce that the long-anticipated Levee Recreation Construction Project is underway! This multi-million dollar project will provide the community with four baseball/softball fields, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields and one multi-purpose football field that will someday serve this great community as the centerpiece of Valley Park’s own ‘Friday Night Lights’ high school football team. We anticipate this complex to be ready by the Spring of 2016.

But what really sets our community apart is our people. We are a tight knit, caring community that actively works to make Valley Park a great place to live and work. On any given day, organizations such as the Lion’s Club, VFW, Rotary and Circle of Concern are hosting BBQs, carnivals, and other events to bring this great community together.

Whether you are a resident or a visitor, on behalf of the Board and my city, I want to invite you to take advantage of all the great things this City has to offer.
