Valley Park Board of Aldermen vote to place a ‘Use Tax’ initiative on the November 6th ballot
As with dozens of other Missouri cities, the Valley Park Board of Aldermen voted to place a ‘Use Tax’ initiative on the November 6th ballot for consideration by our residents. It is estimated that a use tax would generate over $50,000 per year for Valley Park. The tax applies to the purchase of goods from OUT OF STATE VENDORS such as Amazon. It will not add any tax to purchases made at local Valley Park stores, shops or vendors.
