Tommy Rauls

Biography

My name is Tommy Rauls and I am one of the Alderman serving Ward four. My wife Dawn and I reside at 409 Bethany Court. Both of us are life-long residents of the City of Valley Park. We moved to Glen Eagles Subdivision two years ago. We have two children who also reside in Valley Park: our son Thomas, his wife Rayne, and our daughter Sara. We are proud parents and grandparents and enjoy spending time with family and our beautiful granddaughter & grandbaby-to-be.

I have been very active in the community volunteering for the Valley Park Athletic Association, Valley Park Lions Club, and the Valley Park High School Booster Club as well as helping with other local events. I was elected to the Valley Park School District Board of Education and served for thirteen years, resigning when we moved out of the School District two years ago.

I proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and Missouri Air National Guard, retiring in 2010 after 27 years of service. I am currently employed by the U.S. Government and work at the Boeing Saint Louis facility as a Quality Assurance Supervisor.

I am the fourth generation in my family to live in Valley Park and have always been proud to say Valley Park is my home. Our town is a very special place with much history. I would like to see it thrive and grow solidly — making it even better than it is today so my grandchildren will want to raise their families here! I have no agenda and I am truly interested in making sure that your voices are heard and that you know what’s going on in our City government.
