Message from the Mayor

As we approach Christmas and the New Year, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest wishes to all the citizens of Valley Park and all the employees of our great city. When we reflect on 2024, we will all be able to remember some very special moments for Valley Park.

-Our greatest accomplishment was on March 4th when we opened our new City Hall at 55 Crescent Avenue.

-Our great town and school made history this year! For the first time, our Valley Park Boys Soccer Team are State Champions! Their successes will help inspire other athletes of the school districts up and coming sporting stars of the future.

-We were able to obtain 2 grants for lighting at a sports complex. We now have the large soccer field lit and is the home field for the Valley Park Hawks Soccer Teams. We are in the process of lighting 2 softball/baseball fields currently.  

-We have 2 grants for large road projects that are going to be starting soon.

1. The completion of Phase 3 for St. Louis Avenue & Marshall Road.

2. Starting soon, construction of Meramec Station Road & Hillsborough Road.

-We completed 16 streets within the city during our street overlay/replacement project took place from August through September.

-2024 also saw some excellent turn outs at our Annual Events held throughout the city! Music in the Park, Movies in the Park, our Fall Festival with Valley Days and Hayride together and Santa and His Reindeer at Leonard Park. All being a huge success and attracted many citizens and visitors to our city.

I hope this holiday season is filled with warmth and joy for you and your loved ones. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
